At 'Westwind' you can really surf the waves. If you have never tried surfing, Westwind can teach you, they have3 surf centres, located not far from Houstrup (approx. 15 km to Bork Havn). You will be trained by qualified surfing instructors and you can hire all the surf gear there.

Bork Havn
Is located on the southern part of ' Ringkøbing Fjord', it is a low tied area. The surf centre has toilets, showers and a cafeteria. The Westwind shop is located right on the beach, parking is available there.

Hvide Sande, South
Like at Bork Havn, Westwind surf centre is located right on the beach, a great low tied area for beginners and experienced surfers.
The surf centre has toilets, showers and a fast food shop. Here there is also parking right on the beach.

Hvide Sande, North
Here is the largest of the surf centres located. Here you will find a cosy cafeteria, showers, toilets and change rooms.
In the cafeteria you will also find information on the weather and the wind condition. There is also a large playground area for the kids. It is a low tide area, (800m outs), hard sand and no rocks. There is also parking near the water.
